With a new name, Charleston, South Carolina-based Dixie Spirits is expanding its portfolio of spirits to include its first whiskey, Dixie Delight.
The former Dixie Vodka brand noted in a press release that the only changes to the portfolio are the labels, which highlight the brand’s regional ingredients infused into each spirit’s flavor, including pepper, citrus, peach, honey and the Dixie Southern.
As the brand stays true to its Southern roots, their first whiskey is made via a unique distillation process that makes Dixie Delight a smooth, peanut butter and banana-flavored whiskey.

The new flavored whiskey clocks in at 70 proof, and is now now available at retail stores only in South Carolina and online at www.dixiesouthernspirits.com.
Launched as Dixie Vodka in 2014, the brand’s mission is to make all-American craft spirits that represent the best of Southern flavor and craftsmanship. Initially, Dixie was sold door to door in its hometown of Charleston, South Carolina.
Today, Dixie works with local farmers across the southern United States, such as beekeepers in Savannah and orange growers in Florida, to find the flavors to hand-infuse in their drinks.
